Olympus ec-14 teleconverter question

Hi Guys

Can any of you Oly peeps tell me whether the above converter will work with the 70-300mm Zuiko f4 lens? I see it says about supporting the 300mm, 14-45, and 300mm f2.8, but I see no mention ofd the 70-300.....

I was under the imperssion these just worked with whatever lens you had attached to it, but then, I know nothing about converters

Any help appreciated

Ta muchly, dissapointed that its MF only, but then, its still a good bit cheaper than any 4/3 500mm or longer lens

There are claims there that AF does work in good light.
I guess with the EC-14 making it an F8 lens @ 300mm it may need better light than the UK has most the year round. Even my 50-200 can struggle @ F4 if I want to keep shutter speed reasonably high on a dull UK day. Nipped over to Malta last week and it was as if I had different kit. Even hit 1/8000th sec once, never seen such a thing here

Again, thanks very much for the info That forum thread makes interesting reading, as you say, the AF seems to work on ec-14 but not ec-20. Still trying to make up my mind
