Olympus EM10 or EM5?

So, having commited to M43 I have decided to get a second body - something I kept putting off with my Canon.
Yes, it will be very helpful to me.
Anyway, it will be one of the above two Olympus cameras but not sure which?
On paper, the EM10 does appear to be better in all areas other than the image stabiliser.

Any other major points between the two?
I am edging towards the EM10 as the wireless control could be really useful.

Having recently played with them both in Jessops, I favoured the em10 as it felt more refined with regards to rhe buttons and wheels. The em10 has newer tech inside too which pushes the IQ closer to the em1 as it shares the same processor.
 
Don't forget the EM-5 is weather-sealed which the 10 isn't. That's about it though :)
 
I have both and IQ wise if you shoot raw there is little difference in them, if you are a jpeg shooter (which I am not) then the better jpeg processing engine gives the E-M10 the edge.

E-M10 higher res rear LCD,. Viewfinders the same res.

E-M5 weather proof.

5 axis v 3 axis stabalization, not that I have notice much difference in real life shooting situations.

Saying all that if I could only shoot one it would be the E-M10 but the optional grip is must for me as it makes the handling so much better.

a happy em10 user here the 3 axis stabilization seems to work great so don't let that put you off.
 
Wonder if there is any difference in build quality between the two bodies as could be interested in getting either myself?

Remember reports of LCD surround problems/cracking putting me off the M5.
 
The black E-M5 body is £540 on Amazon and Olympus are offering a free grip for all new E-M5 purchases so not much in it if you buy (body only) in the UK.
 
Does the full grip ( the one that can add the batteyr and buttons etc) also work with the EM10 or am I restricted to the basic bersion that just increased the thickness of the front of the camera?
The EM10 still appeals anyway given its' newer with more recent technology. Price wise, all i can say, is it helps to know people ;)

The E-M10 grip just increases the size of the camera.

Personally, I bought an E-M10 body today for a very decent price....that's without consulting anyone "in the know". ;)

I don't think you can go wrong with either body tbh.
