Olympus macro

There are 2 available, the 35mm f3.5 and the 50mm f2. The 50 is the sharper of the two but has less magnification and is more expensive. Have a look on e-group.UK.net to find a second hand one. There are also the Sigma 105 and 150 s if you need a longer lens.

Thanks for the reply, looking at something more about the 100mm size, can't find a sigma with the Olympus fit, would a canon fit with an adaptor ring work ok?
It's a surprise present for my better half :-)

No, canon with adaptors would be all manual (stop down metering is really a pain for macro), and I don't think you'll get infinity focus without optical elements in the adaptor.

If you want a longer lens, the sigma 105mm or 150mm are both excellent.

Remember that on 2x crop, the 50mm has a FOV of a 100mm though, so isn't as short as it sounds.
