Olympus MMF-2 Micro Four Thirds Adapter Question

Hi

At the mo I have an Olympus EP-1 and an Olympus MMF-2 micro four thirds adapter, a couple of Olympus lenses, that I use with the Olympus MMF-2 on the EP-1.

I am interested in getting a second hand Panasonic GF-1.

Can I use the Olympus MMF-2 Adapter with the Panasonic GF-1?
or do I need to buy the Panasonic equivalent.

Yes you can use the mmf mount on any m43 body.

I read somewhere that not all lenses work on the panasonic

All micro four third lenses work on all m43 bodies, you may find the four third lenses auto focus slower via your adaptor, but they will work.

Suggest you look here for the official and complete answer. Theres a LOT of 4/3 lenses that won't work on the GF1.

That answers alot of my questions,
it looks like 1 of my lenses works but not the other.

I have:
Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F4.0-5.6 - NG
Olympus Zuiko Digital 35mm F3.5 Macro - OK

I had another look at the website and it looks like I could be alright with the GF-2

Confused now, thought I had made my decision, will have to look into it again

Its disappointing the 4/3rds standard apparently doesn't extend beyond the mount. The Panasonic site seems to indicate my ZD50-200, ZD35Macro, 40-150 and 14-54Mk1 are all NG (unworkable). Is this a deficiency with the Panasonic adapter, or would the same problem occur with the MMF-2. The Olympus adapter is NZ$100 cheaper, but if it doesn't work, then my GF-1 and its collection of lenses are up for sale and I'll stay with my old E-1.
