Olympus Pen F - repair job query

I recently got my hands on an Olympus pen f. However, there seems to be something stuck in the card slot. I’ve tried air blowers, small dental hooks, a tooth pick and can’t get it out. It’s proper wedged in there. The money I spent on the camera has been refunded, so I’ve basically got a pen f for free, but at the moment it’s unusable. Can anyone direct me to instructions on removing the card slot to give it a thorough clean? I doubt it’d be worth sending it away for a repair. I imagine the cost to repair it would probably be about the same as finding another secondhand model, or maybe more? The camera also has another issue which I was made aware of when I purchased it and that was the off switch doesn’t work. I wasn’t too bothered about that. Although, the seller thought it was okay to use a swollen battery in the camera which was sold along with it and a third party charger. So, that swollen battery likely caused damage to the off switch.
Is this even worth pursuing a repair, or shall I just be grateful I got a refund?

Looking at the price these are for sale for I think it'd be worthwhile at least getting a quote for a repair.

Good luck with this, I hope it is indeed worth fixing.

MIGHT be worth taking it into one of the many phone repair shops that seem to be on every High Street.

Waiting on response from OM System to see if they would touch it. Although, it seems to use their repair service you need to register the camera with proof of purchase which I don’t have as I got it secondhand. I wouldn’t know where else to take it to for a a repair job. I know sometimes with discontinued models they tend to charge more than it would be to purchase a newer model. So, if there’s any instructions out there to take the camera apart and clean it out, then I’ve got nothing to lose if I give it a go myself.

Card slot

Any help?

If you cannot find any camera dismantling instructions on the internet you probably need to take it apart yourself taking notes/pictures of each step.

You could also try A.J.JOHNSON in Glasgow ,they handle repairs for Olympus grey imports and have access to spare parts , Luton cameras might have some spares to
