Hi,
Has any one used the olympus xz-10?
I am going abroad for a week or two in February and don't want to take my x-e1 so I'm looking to get a good quality compact to take instead.
I originally wanted to get the rx100 which I have used before but its out of my budget - £150-200ish.
Pros of the xz-10:
Wide 26mm equivalent lens and fairly good 130mm telephoto.
Shoots RAW (A must)
Touch screen for focus selection
Really fast lens (1.8-2.7)
Good compact size.
Macro up to 1cm.
Cons:
Only 12 Mp, 12 megapixels is ok, but would prefer more, unless the lens is super sharp.
1/2.3" sensor, bigger than most compacts but pales compared to the rx100 or something like the Fuji xq1.
The Fuji XQ1 looks interesting, sort of like a poor mans RX100 (Same focal lengths and aperture just a smaller sensor) but with it only being 12 mp and 100mm lens there isn't much room for longer shots.
Any recommendations for other cameras or thoughts on the oly xz-10 would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Asa
