OM-10 / T 20 flash synch question

Recent new toy ( yet to put it up in "official new toy thread" , wanted to "test" it first!)

Olympus OM-10 with manual adapter and T 20 flash unit.

I know the flash synch speed is 1/60 when the shooting mode is in "auto".

Question.....When the shooting mode is set to "manual adapter", is it possible to open up the aperture and shoot at say 1/250 or 1/500 or is the flash synch destined to remain at 1/60 ??

If you Google "Olympus OM10 Manual" you will find a pdf download. Google "Olympus T20 Flash Instructions" and you will find a pdf for that too
