Does anyone have one of these? I need a new lens for my EOS 350d but can't afford it at the moment, but I have a lot of really nice lenses for my OM10. Is it easy to manual focus with one of these and whats the quality of them like? The cheapest one I've found is this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Olympus-OM-lens-EOS-adapter-for-30D-40D-50D-350D-400D_W0QQitemZ220459508246QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Photography_CamcorderAccess_RL?hash=item3354692216
Would this be ok or is it worth finding a more expensive one?
Thanks in advance.

how does it confirm the focus? I dont think theres anything on my camera which does that. Does the camera still meter the light OK with the attachment on? I've read some reviews saying it can effect it.

When you focus, if you hold the shutter button as if you were autofocusing the focus points light up when a subject is in focus. It isn't a special camera function or anything, provided the adapter has a chip. They meter perfectly well on Canon bodies anyway, that's all i know about!

I recently tried one on my 40d as I have a loved 100mm f2.8 OM lens. The lens is permanently stopped down, so focus is open aperture then close aperture for shot.

The bit that I don't like is that as the 40d has no old fashioned focus aids that show you that you are nearly in focus (split image etc), you are constantly wind to and from past the point where the red lights blink for a split second.

I have given up and am saving for a EF 85mm f1.8 to replace it.
