OM Zuiko 50mm f1.4/OM-1N Trouble

Hi guys,

I have a little trouble here. I own an OM-1N and the OM Zuiko 50mm f1.4 lens amongst some other lenses I got as a bundle.

So, recently I noticed whenever I use the 50mm f1.4, 1/3 of my photos are black and unexposed. It doesn't happen when I use my other lenses. It is so peculiar. On the photo it seems the shutter may not have pulled fully but: 1) why does it only happen with the f1.4; and 2) surely, the shutter shouldn't open if it isn't fully pulled?

Can you guys help me out and advise? Is there anything I can do to avoid an expensive repair? My OM-1N was fully serviced just a year ago by Luton Cameras and the guy said my f1.4 looked fine. :'(

This is the only thing that could cause it to happen only with the one lens, test it off camera with the DOF preview button, it may nly happen in specific orientations as well.
 
Other thing to check is does it actaully have the stop down lever on the lens? I had a Vivitar lens that was missing the lever and tehrefore useless on an OM body!
