Well after all the questions and help i recieved on here ive finally gone and taken the plunge and ordered myself a 7d

. Excited is an understatement, i carnt wait to get it and have a play, i can feel a big learning curve coming my way :help:

But i would just like to thank everyone for the input and help on my other thread regarding which body to buy

So i will be posting soon with a few images when i get it, so keep your eyes peeled.

Congrats on getting a new toy, hope you enjoy every minute with it. If you download the manual from the Canon website now you can have a head start on your learning curve.

I dont know how you do it!
I could not order something online like that!!! I would want it in my hand immediately, and the wait for delivery would be hideous :lol:

(quite impatient when it comes to these sorts of things!!)

Read the manual twice, and just because you can change lots of things, don't do them all at once.

Congratulations on buying a superb camera. You will love it, but bear in mind it is the kind of camera which gives its best only when the operator is fully conversant with its foibles. You will most likely go through an initial period of doubting the wisdom of buying it, but keep on in there. You wil be amazed at its capabilities.

That's exactly where I find myself. So many controls but I'm determined to master and every time I feel like giving up I browse images others have taken with 7d for inspiration...
