It was a relatively bright afternoon - but the sun was behind me and I used a polariser to get the 1/2 sec exposure and reduce the brightness on the waves.

Cheers for that G&A Images, I thought the exposure would have been slightly longer.

no i did a couple at longer exposure but was not as happy with them i do think what helped was the cloud as it went round to the west over the wirral. Was just passing through and thought would take a look as the tide was running.
