Two very different images and two very different places!
I spent yesterday afternoon mooching around in the Moelwynion near Cnicht, an area I keep returning to as it's very close to home and offers the solitude I crave when in the mountains. I was not disappointed and saw no one. It was incredibly cold and very windy but worth the wait for a bit of a light-show at sundown.
Today I headed into the lonely heart of the Carneddau where I spent the afternoon prowling around Cwm Dulyn, my prey was a stand of Scots Pine which I've had my eye on for many a moon! Again, I saw no one, just me and the wild ponies in a place that has a peculiarly eerie atmosphere...
