Yes
Le Negatif is a new online magazine dedicated to film photography. It takes a little while to get used to the way the magazines work but there's a lot of great work to be found there. I don't think this has been posted before but if it has, apologies!

Thanks for that.

Just had a look and wow what a range of images, I really do like this. I hope it stays around for a while.

Some of the images were a disgrace in that they had hairs and spots all over them plus one had large tramlines across the pic......but maybe that's all some artistic licence idea/fashion LOL

Great idea but one thing annoys me, the overwhelming number of nudie shots. It's not prurience, just that ever since I bought a photo mag they've always had some lauded european bloke with completely meaningless shots of a nekkid chick holding an egg or something. It isn't art, it isn't even surrealism. It's just very soft porn with an egg. Or blue paint. Or whatever.

 pics of females always appeals to the masses... eggs or no eggs

I can't really work out if these are intentional or not, sort of a rebellion against the "clean" look you tend to get with digital capture. In some cases I think the scratches sort of work (Magazine 2 - 22-23) but others just look like pretty appalling scans (Magazine 2 - 24).

To be honest I think that is due to the fact that they're predominantly using submissions from deviantART users, I presume that as they get more submissions there will be more variety. Considering I don't shoot portraits (nude or otherwise) I think that there is a lot of very inspirational stuff in the magazine, perhaps I just have weird tastes. :bonk:

Right, I'm hoping I can turn this thread into an online-magazine-finds thread because I have just found another.

This one is called MAGNAchrom, it's aimed at medium and large format photographers but I'm sure others will find it interesting too.

After waiting for some time I've found what I think will be a good one, it's called Great British Landscapes and has been set up by Joe Cornish and Tim Parkin. The first online magazine is set to go live on Monday and after that there should be new "issues" every 2 weeks.

Now thats my kind of thing, well spotted.

Andy
