Onsite backups without PC.

I will be shooting a music festival this year, over 3 days. I need a way to clean photos from my cards over the weekend, as even with 40gb of cards, the 5d2 will soon eat them out in a day.

Has anyone had experience with these?

or has an alternate suggestion, will prob be taking laptop, but wanted to know peoples thoughts on these, just in case I run out during the day.

I've looked at this type of device a few times, not that I've ever really needed one.
The obvious alternative would be a cheap netbook which could have the hard drive upgraded if need be. It's the choice I would always end up going for. Although not as small and convenient it will do more for you if need be. But the main thing is I can REALLY SEE that my pictures have transferred across. I think with a small device like this I would always have a nagging doubt as I re wrote the card.

Of course the other alternative is more CF cards. Lots of cheap options these days if you are happy with slightly slower speeds.

What will you do about charging it? Some of these devices don't unload many cards before needing a charge.

There are onsite press facilities for this. The temptation is to take a laptop, but the problem is weight. I will already be lugging 2 bodies, 3 lenses, various bits and bobs. I want to make kit as light as possible. Reviews all say good things, but just wondered if anyone had any use of these.
