Hi

Recently got an Op/tech strap, and whilst it's much better than the horrid thing Nikon provides, it's still a little too short to wear across the chest (I'm 6'1").

I see that Op/tech produce extension straps;

but I can't find anywhere in the UK that sells them.

A google search found that Speed Graphic sells them, but they've been out of stock for several weeks and I'm bored of waiting. Anyone know of anywhere else that sells a full range of Op/tech gear (and preferably doesn't charge a stupid flat-rate postage fee for something that'll fit in a small envelope!)?

Thanks. I had a look but couldn't see any for sale. Plenty of straps but none of the accessories :(
 
Yeah, I know what you mean.

I managed to find extenders and also the sling adapter... It's the sling that I use most now, with the camera hanging at my hip.

I got the ProLoop from HERE

came within a week from the USA, great price and great item, I got the loop with the longer straps, there are two versions.
Give Phil a message he's a great guy, and tell him what you are after, I'm sure he will sort you out :)

they are in the states but I bought from them extra long pro loops with a strap for about £14 delivered - wouldn't be surprsied if extensions alone cost more than that here.

Cheers - I was hoping to get extensions so I could continue to use the pro-loop connectors, but I guess I could use webbing loops instead. :)

I got my Op-Tech extensions (I'm a wheelchair user and wanted a strap long enough to allow me to rest my camera on my lap but with the security of a neck strap so you should be OK) through Wokingham Photographic but they seem to be redeveloping the Op-Tech site. However, they do have a link to allow purchases from Europe priced in sterling which might help - Link
