After very nearly getting caught in a down pour yesterday I suspect a rain cover would be a wise investment. This is more of a just in case item rather than to allow me to keep going in a typhoon.

I have seen the Op tech rain sleeve (here £6 for 2 posted and it looks like a sensible option. Should pack down small and also provide protection if I were to go to the beach etc.

Has any one got any experience of these or are they as rubbish as the price suggests?

binned mine

try camomac .. owners/makers are on this forum if you search :)

They look like a cheap plastic bag, look like rubbish to me.:p

Got mine for £5 on the high street - £6 on e-bay is a bit steep.

They're significantly more substantial than a sandwich bag but, of course, if you've never handled/used one, you could easily make the wrong assumption.

Must admit for the sake of a tenner the camo mac does look like a better product. Will have to wait until me new lens arrives to measure it up.

I've got some, they're okay, but are essentially just plastic bags with a drawstring - you can get a similar product from Tesco - free with your shopping ;)
