Op/Tech sling strap

I'm sure this is a common question and I've done a search of TP.

Does anyone use this strap? If so, is it a good quality strap?

I note is attatches to the side of the camera rather than to the base.

Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

Ive recently purchased a Sun Sniper from Digital depot which is fantastic, exceeded my expectations. Quality is A1.

The optech is similar in design so i'm sure just as useful, I cant comment on the quality though.

Ive started using one rather than my R-Strap, i find it far comfier especially if your carrying a rucksack. I had the TP one so had extra connectors and use one on the base of the camera and the others looped round the tripod mount of the 300mm + 100-400 held in place with a QR plate (hopefully!!) so it hangs at my waist.

I spent ages making up my mind on a sling strap and in the end went for a Quickstrap for £18.50 on ebay it's fantastic and I wish I got it years ago!

i use one!
It's easy to fit, and takes the strain and is comfortable all day long. Thats with a 40D+grip+70-200

Yes was from China, took about a week to arrive the quality and comfort are both excellent.

My sling strap went for its first outing to Silverstone a few weeks back and I was delighted with how it performed. Very comfortable. I was carrying a gripped Canon 450 with 55-250 lens. I attached one of the "uni-loop" adapters to the usual fixing point (near the shutter release) and the second adapter is fixed onto the bottom of my battery grip. The camera sits nicely on my right hip. Hope this helps.
