Covered 3 swims today in Derwent water - light not the best but fantastic spot for a swim!

18 degrees Gil. I was stood in up to my waist and it was like being in a bath!! Sun came out for last 20 mins of last swim!!
 
That's not so bad. Nice shots. How did you keep you camera gear dry :)

Avoid dropping it!!! Only had to wipe lens 2 or 3 times - you know when you are going to get a face full and just move camera to one side. Also move back and to one side and use long end of the 70-200 which was on the body.
 
Looking good. Really like 3. You must have got a buzz from taking these.

Ace. I do open water swimming as a hobby and the photos of some events covered by marathon photos are absolutely awful. They don't even get action shots just terrible ones of people staggering around as they've finished. These pics are really great and more accurately depict the environment of the event. Nice. :)
