opening flower

I took this using natural light in the conservatory with the blind providing the background.

It seemed like a very easy way to get a high key background....

I am not sure weather to remove the small green triangle at the top of the flower, to me it looks distracting?

Any critique will be welcome.

The background looks bleached, the red would stand out more if the background was black.
