Have to agree with that. Quickly put this spec together on Novatech for a "barebones system" for less money just to show what is possible. If you don't like plugging in drives and memory then there is cash left to pay someone to do it for you. System has a better processor, 50% more RAM (12Gb) and double the hard disk space. Not saying this system is for you but just shows what you can get.
Funny enough I've been looking at this pc as well.
Not sure if it's exclusive to PC World/Currys/Dixon as I can't see it anywhere else.
I would think they would shortly have a sale what with Christmas/bank holiday/vat increase etc.
I am keeping a constant watch on HP's UK website as they're always do special deals and are sometimes cheaper than PC World. Currently they are doing a free extra 2 years warranty on all pcs purchased from their website.
I've owned HP desktops/laptops since my Commodore Amiga over 20 years ago and I don't regret buying them.

Although the above member has put a cheaper price than the HP 3 things straight away. The dvd drive on the HP is blue ray player as well, the HP machine also has a 15 in 1 card reader and thirdly the hard drive on the HP is actually 1.5tb according to HP.
