For info. up until recently I shot mainly with a 1DIII and ocassionally with a 5D but now use 60D and 1DsII bodies so this has meant swopping and changing a few lenses.
I now pretty much have my lens line-up sorted, however, I have just sold a really nice 35L which I used a lot so I am missing this focal length a bit. I now need a fast, wide prime for weddings and events and figure that something in the 20-24 mm range will be nice and wide on the FF and pretty much replace the 35L when used on the crop body.
Obviously, the 24L II is a contender but before I invest I was wondering what people here think of the offerings in this range including those from Sigma plus others and including opinions on the 24L mark I.
Any information would be much appreciated.
