Yes
I've just been offered these lenses and was wondering if some kind folk could give me some feedback on them please as I could possibly be purchasing them. They will be for use on Sony A200 and the girlfreinds Sony A100. Just want to know if they are good lenses and to what they could be used for etc. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Sigma AF 70-210 4-5.6
Sigma AF 35-80 4-5.6
Sigma AF 35-70 3.5-5.6

I noticed the last two are similar so would just the one of them be good or is it a case of both do different things.

stupid question, but they are the correct mount aren't they?

What other letters are on them?
macro? APO, APG, etc?

Yeah they are for the Sony Alpha range. The only other letters I can remember seeing on them is on 35-80 I recall it saying DL Zoom and on the 35-70 it was called a Master. Don't know if this helps.

If they are A mount then yes, they will be fine on the Alphas. They were designed for the Minolta film cameras I would say but that isn't an issue. What do you want to use the lenses for? The difference between the 35-70 and the 35-80 is the slightly longer focal length and the slightly larger aperture on the 35-70 at the wide end. Can't really see the point of having both unless you both need those focal ranges at the same time. How much are they asking for the lenses?
