Hi Folks, as you may know I am the Head Ranger for the National Trust East Devon, Coast and Countryside Estate.

We have a holiday property near Exmouth which we are currently refurbishing and as part of this i have decided we'd like some 'art' on the walls, so I'd like to offer this opportunity to any local landscape photographers (whether you are proffesional or amateur matters not a jot or tiffle so long as your pictures are good).

The way I'd see this working is that you would provide me with prints ( numbers, sizes., length of time to be displayed, and whether mounted, unmounted or framed to be a matter for discussion) with a discreet price tag which we would display in the property - when/if these were purchased by guests we would handle the sale and pass the money along to you - we would not be taking any commision or making any charge on this, our benefit comes from having the prints on the walls, plus ticking a box on our strategy of engaging with local communities.

You would also have the opportunity to have an A4 flyer featuring your work/gallery if any/ etc included in the holiday property welcome pack.

If this sounds interesting please give me a shout by pm and we can arrange a phone call or meet to discuss further.

And just for claritys sake i'll include the following disclaimer :

I usually like to keep my professional and personal life seperate so any opinion expressed anywhere else on this forum is mine alone and not that of my employer.

sounds like a great idea!

i'm not in devon but if i were i'd chomp your arm off

Ideally i'd like localish landscapes (anywhere along the jurasic coast in east devon or west dorset, or on the otherside of the Exe , or inland ) but that said I am open to discussion on less local landscapes as our prime criteria is to get nice pics on the walls.

Also while i'd prefer photographers from the devon area (both because it ticks a box on engaging with local communities, and because it makes logistics easier) I'm also open to approaches from photographers from further away if they have nice pictures of our locality.
