Hi we were at our sons passing out parade yesterday at Catterick and it teemed down with rain and so I had to keep protecting my camera under my jacket to to stop it getting wet.
I have now decided to get a raincoat for it
Does anyone know if the optech rain sleeves are any good or have any others that are a good buy, Thanks

hello babytiger.
I use the optech rain cover sleve and would throughly recommend them.
I brought 2 for £5 at the Focus camera show (that was all i brought).
They only thing is they do seem to 'sweat' a bit if really raining and I struggle to see my lcd screen to look back at photos, but however i reather that then a rain damaged camera!

they do not interfere with light coming onto the sensor or make the picture dark in anyway.

hope that helps.

Got 2 from warehouse express for £5 but cost £4 postage :cuckoo: but even at £9 it's still a cheap effective way of protecting £100's of gear.

I reckon one of those umberellas that you wear on top of your head would do the trick. Not ideal for looking unobtrusive, I'll grant you...
