Orange Livebox connection problem - Please Help

I have an acer aspire one netbook and it wont connect wirelessly to my orange livebox but it would do with my previous d link router.

It says DISCONNECTED - THE NETWORK CONNECTION HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED when I try to connect.

I also have a wired connection from the livebox to my pc and that works fine so I know its not a problem with my internet connection. Please Help.

The netbook is using Linux.

Yeah I have tried that too and still doesnt work.

a quick google suggests running the livebox in WPA only mode?

Just don't phone Orange for help, they are awful!

Sorry I can't help you though, we moved away from Orange over a year ago.

if you still have the d-link you could reconfigure it.. the livebox is awful

Yeah Orange were next to useless and offer no support for linux users. Now back on the d-link router and the wireless works fine although now I cant sign into hotmail or messenger :bang:
