My first butterflies of the year and the first time I've ever managed to photograph an Orange Tip Butterfly

Thanks Ben. I usually have the same problem, they're one of the first butterflies I see each year, but they very rarely stop long enough to photograph. Luckily these two were otherwise occupied.

I once followed one around for about 1/2 hour and in all that time it only stopped and landed for about 1 second. Needless to say I didn't get any photos. :(

That's usually been the case for me, over the last few years I've chased them up and down for hours on end without managing a single image of one.

Thanks Kevin.

Nice but pity the males head is OOF

Thanks Alf, I know, I took about 40 shots altogether from different angles but couldn't get both heads in focus.

Do you have two you can stack?
Handheld shots can be stacked.
