hi all been looking around and im stunned by the "orb" pictures can anyone give us an idea on how they are done please really fancy having a go many thanks

With a piece of string attached to a torch/light, at dusk/night start spinning the string with the torch in one hand and slowly standing on the spot rotate in a full circle, Remember you will need your camera on a tripod with a long exposure.

Well basically you need a light source attached to a string/cable with a switch to turn it on/off in your hand battery powered Christmas lights tend to be the light source of choice tape up the lights into a single cluster...

Now when it comes to the spin you need to start spinning the lights over a single point and then rotate around that point treating it as your axis
