Orchid/Black Slate Revisited:

After various constructive comments on both this forum and the LF photography forum I have had another go at processing my Orchid with Black Slate image. This time I used CS6 along with Silver Efex Pro 2 for some localised contrast control and hopefully have been able to subdue the halos around the petals that was evident in my first processing attempt. I have also darkened down the RH bottom corner to concentrate the view on to the Orchids themselves.

Been waiting for this, Ed, and a much better version it is too.

Would love to see this as a big print on a wall, which is how it should be displayed, far too good to be hidden away in ones and zeroes!

Thanks David, I have printed it to 12" x 12"but am looking at pricing for a 20" or 24" version. It really does look even better in print.
