To be honest it does not seem to make any difference
Could be my work pc but if you had not said which was which I would not of been able to tell.

#1 is the best the vignette on 2 does not work IMO.;)

I was trying to mask the dark area towards the bottom right, but I guess it doesn`t really make that much difference.
 
I think some people here must be blind, its obvious which one has vignetting.

And IMHO, I think the vignetting one is better. :)

I think you need to add more to be honest, I think it will be better with it imho (y)
 
I would definitely try a more severe vignette, if you have photoshop try Distort and then lens correction and max it.
