Hi all, I've just upgraded to the OP4, (still have my OP3), and still have the same query. I'm not a vlogger so don't use the camera to record me talking to the camera, but rather like I do with my Nikon's and Sony's, i.e. to film what's going on around me, and when on holidays with the wife and our friends etc., so more what's going on in front of the camera not behind.
Pretty much every video I've seen has the DJI wireless mic mounted to a piece of clothing via the small magnet, but like I say this is typically for pieces to camera which I don't do, and tends to pick up my breathing etc when walking when mounting it like this. Therefore has anyone found a way to mount either the DJI Wireless mic or new Mic 3 Mini, to the camera facing forwards a bit like a shotgun mic. I was hoping that part of the body on the new OP4 would be metal (apart from the actual gimble), and that it could mount magnetically to the body of the camera but sadly no. I did purchase the genuine DJI OP3 expansion adapter, but it's a bit of a faff and the DJI wireless mics don't actually come with a hot shoe mount anyway ?
Anyone any ideas ?
