This guy caught me out a treat. I hadn't setup and there he was. Managed to catch this image, badly exposed and badly processed, but its my first image of an osprey.

good spot gerald - at least you have a record shot of this bird whereas many people, me included, have yet to see one in the wild.

Thanks all. It was a treat watching them. I was there about 30 minutes and the female turned up as well. No images, but I'll be heading back down next weekend
