Hi

Now obviously TP is the best photography forum, and it certainly has a very active for sale/trade forum. Where else do you guys/girls go looking for 2nd hand bargains online? I know aout POTN (mostly american), AV Forums, GoSnap and Photography Forums.

Any others i could keep an eye on?

I take it i need a funny handshake or know a password to get on the others then???

Yeah i keep an eye on there as well as here mainly. Was just wondering if there were any other forums that have as active a FS/FT forum as AV and here.

A lot of people say advertised elsewhere in their ad's but dont say advertised where.

Ebay, usually.

Ebay's already been mentioned. I also spend time at Canon Fodder Forums which doens't have a hugely active FS forum and NaturePhotographers.net where there is often very tasty kit for sale.

My guess is that, for UK photographers, EBay is the place to sell to get biggest prices and forums are the place to buy in the hope of getting stuff at a good price away from all that bidding frenzy and competition. Maybe I'm wrong but that's how it feels.

thanks for the other forums mentioned there, id agree with your statement above totally. Thats why i was interested to find some more forums. Im staying away from ebay, now and again a bargain does come up but i prefer forums.

Thanks id forgotten about eos-classifieds! Photgraphy on the net has loads on but most of it is in the US, which is a pity because they always have goodgear on it.

Thanks for your replys!
