OULTON AWAY DAYS BSB

Took a trip up to Oulton Park for a 2 days get away from Brands and it an enjoyable 2 days I had first stop was Deer Leap but due to Add Boards again

no joy there so headed to Knickerbrook where I had some success then headed to Brittens followed by Hill Top I then headed for Druids but it was to dark with the rain setting in so back to the hotel for some beers and dinner.

Saturday headed back to Druids for the morning which I enjoyed but can imaging was a superb shooting spot before they moved the fence back i then spent some time wandering around looking for other shooting spots finishing the day back at Knickerbrook leaving after the BSB race for more beers at our Hotel its a circuit I will visit again but will think about renting a bigger lens as the corners are a little further away than Brands so had to crop quite a bit using a 300mm.

Good set, like number 2, is that going up the hill after Britten's.

Nice set Gaza. They are slowly ruining most tracks with the oversized advertising boards. Today at Donington was frustrating for a couple of similar reasons.

Cheers Lewis cannot tell with that dark visor the eyes would have made for a better shot

Fine set Gary, looks like you had a good couple of days, great eyes in #9 but #6 gets my vote.

Pics 5,6,10 and 11 were using a Canon 70-200 F4L IS on a 7D the rest a Canon 300mm F4L IS on a 7D.

Thanks Andrew my favorite places at Oulton after my first visit were Brittens and Hilltop I think Druids would have been superb before they moved the fence back.

Druids certainly was superb. Last time I went up (May) there was no public access there. I hope they haven't properly screwed it up.

This one was taken at Druids a few years ago (50D with Sigma 300mm f/2.8)
