Oulton Park Gold Cup

Not been to Oulton Park for a while, so thought I would give the Gold Cup a go. Wasn't quite what I expected, i.e. no F5000 etc. but the weather on Saturday was warm and dry.

Yep I noticed that when I returned but it is still pretty free of the stuff when you compare it to Donington or Silverstone.

Yep I noticed that when I returned but it is still pretty free of the stuff when you compare it to Donington or Silverstone.

Most of the new fences are on the outside, its still quite clear shooting from the inside.

I was at Silverstone for the MotoGP this weekend. What a crap venue for photography if you're not a pro with trackside access. Even those shots where I managed to blur out the fence have a horrid grey mist cast over them! With that, the rain and quagmire of a campsite, I was back home by Saturday evening.
