I was on a course last week and got to spend the day in Salisbury with a few tasks. Here are some of the portraits I took. CC welcome

They all appear to be slightly soft, focus wise No3 isn't too bad - look at the eyes, maybe a smaller aperture would have helped

Thanks guys I'm not sure if they're soft because I've had to post them on from my phone. They look sharp on the camera.

Regarding numbers 3s crop I like it, and he likes it so I'm happy with it.

I'm hoping to get a 50mm 1.8 soon at the minute I'm using my standards 18-55 kit lens.

It was a good experience getting out to take pictures of random people can't wait to do it again.
