Been given a roll of Fuji neopan 100. It's dated exp 2000. No idea how it has been stored. How may it have degraded? Worth running through the camera?

Definitely! Worst that can happen is the colours might fade a bit or come out odd

yeah, I know...

it's only 10 years out of date, you'd pretty much have to cook neopan 100 or leave it in the corner of a hospital x-ray suite for it to be ralphed :)

As film ages it tends to loose speed and the fog level tends to rise. Poor storage can also accelerate this. 10 years is a bit long especially as you have no idea how well it has been stored. You could use it for something not important, as you never know what you are going to get. Personally I'd bin it. If you can't predict the results there is no point in using it.

... ? Maybe 20/30 years yeah, but as BY said - Neopan is a toughie.

Well I have Rollei retro 100 in there at the moment, that should be through tomorrow and I'll poke this one in next.
