Out walking the dog

A very green newbie armed with a point n' shoot (Cybershot T100), just starting to try out a bit of photography beyond the usual family snaps.

Walking the dog around a local country park this week.

is the holly just a touch out of focus?
or does it just need sharpening after resizing for upload?

Really like the first one - the path leads the eye nicely towards the figure and love the frostiness. Looks very chilly brrr!

Yes it is just ever so slightly out of focus , but I quitre liked it as a snap.

the first picture has most potential I think, I like it anyway, but probably better to have taken a few steps right to fit in where the path was leading instead of it plonked in the middle of the frame
