Overcast Cad West 17/08/09

As the title suggests it was a rather miserable day up on Cad but at least it stayed dry, not ideal for photography so I've had a bit of a hard time choosing these shots, nevertheless plenty of movements all the same!

Hi Cheesy, to be honest I'm not too sure which was the lead aircraft, as I recall both were flying in close formation, I'm pretty sure the shot in question is the first T2 as I don't think I had time to switch from one to the other.
Don't know whether this helps?!

I was in the lead T2 - part of a trial of the new software load giving us a synthetic radar and synthetic SAMs in the mission system - an awesome capability for training future Typhoon and F35 pilots.

Any chance of a hi rez copy of the two T2 shots for the Sqns F540 - the official history for the Sqn that is collated on a monthly basis and stored ....... for ever!

Well guys, I've taken a few twin ships in the past but thought not to post as it's not really what people want to see. What I really mean is that maybe they're not so dramatic as a close up of a GR4 screaming past for example with vapour trailing from the wings.. Horses for courses I suppose!
