Both taken on my crappy 75-200mm lens with my A300. Barely a week with an SLR and I'm seriously seeing the downsides to cheap lenses

Well I think the firsy is superb, much more so than the second which is also great

I personally prefer the owl shot, purely because of the eye contact & colour, but the composition of the first is fantastic.
