Sometimes Owls just don't look like they're supposed to be flying.

Nice shot! Must admit, they don't look at all aerodynamic.

Lovely shot - well captured from an unusual viewpoint

INCOMMMMINNNNNNNNNNNNNG  , nice and sharp though

Cracking shot.
Reminded me of a bird photographer - Eric Hoskins. He lost an eye when a Tawny owl flew at him.

Great shot, braver person than me I reckon! :)

Wow! Lucky wotsit! Buy a lottery ticket this weekend! Oh and mine is a mini cooper works please.

The look in the eyes kind of says "I'm coming right down your lens if you don't move.
A nice well taken shot.

awesome shot, he's got quite a stare on him!!

I didn't know they made cameras that were small enough to be used by mice
hope you were a quick runner!

Thanks for all the comments guys. Appreciated (y)

Heh - pretty awesome shot!! :) How close did he fly to you? Looks like he was gunning for a fight!

Thanks Gary

If i remember correctly I got my head slapped by one of his wings  That's the trouble when the only eye you're using is stuck in a view finder. You don't quite realize just how fast something is moving.

Brilliant Shot

I assume you use your 17-55 lens
