A couple from a visit to North Anston Butterfly House today. They got burds as well as flutterbys.

Fab shots, awesome plumage on the owl.
 
nice shots i didnt know that they had any birds at the butterfly house i only live 3 miles away and never visited
 
They've got Falcons, Harris Hawks, a Turkey Vulture and all sorts of peacocks and other bling birds wandering about under your feet. It's worth a visit. If you take your camera into the Tropical House, it steams up immediately and you've got to wait half an hour for it to demist :(
