Week 34 : Nostalgia

I have a lot of old film cameras. Some are quite complicated but this simple little Trip still gets the occasional trip out

Lovely, my favourite film camera ;)

Great colours, would have put money on seeing a train this week :)

There's a Steam ban on with all the hot dry weather we've had!

The round lens on the black line almost looks like a wheel on a track Dave, great memories.

Nice!

Every time I try film I get annoyed by it's lack of instant gratification, but that picture makes me want that camera.

It really pops out against the rustic tones of the background.

Thanks Nick :)

Love this camera Dave, wish I had one but I see that OM systems is about to release something new that's similar.

It's a great little camera. They're not expensive and plenty around. However, film is VERY expensive these days. It costs me about £25 to buy and have developed one roll of 35mm. This is why I don't shoot film as much these days!

It is what it is :)

One of the last FM2n bodies to be made. Bought new in 2001.

I had to research this camera, having missed out most of the camera world for best part of forty years with work, kids, other stuff getting in the way. Fond memories of the Pentax MESuper and K1000. Digital is great but can make me lazy in the picture taking because of the post-shutter options in Lightroom.

Mine is the FM2n - but the only way you can tell is the 'N' at the end of the serial number. :)
