I haven't got that version but usually you would add a new blank layer and then add a white to transparent gradient across it. (the new layer gives you the advantage of moving the gradient or altering the opacity after) Wayne
I'd suggest using a layer on top of your image that's quite white. If you delete a circular selection from that layer and blur the whole layer afterwards, you should get what you need.
