Pana GX80 & Elinchrom Trigger Fail - Any suggestions?

My GX80 will not fire my Elinchrom strobes via the Elinchrom Skyport wireless trigger. The trigger is an EL-Skyport Speed which is non-dedicated, non-TTL.

I can fire them with an old cactus wireless pair I have hanging around but it would be much better to use the Elinchrom trigger as it is 100% reliable and allows power adjustment.

Suggestions as to settings or reasons would be much appreciated. Many thanks.

Yep, I’ve got two and they both work fine on my Nikons.

That's odd then, if you look at the bottom of the Skyport trigger it only has a single pin so there's not a great deal to go wrong there.

Try making sure both the pin and its contact point on the hot shoe are clean. It can make an electrical contact between the two right?

Thanks Simon. Everything is clean but the GX80 just will not trigger the Elinchroms.
