Panasonic G3, initial results.

Look very nice Dave, impressed with the colour and contrast but why are so many of them coming up for sale already !!!
PS. what marina is that, I don't recognise the background (ex Cardiff lad)
 
Very impressed indeed Dave! Looks like you have a winner! I had a G1, but didn't find the AF fast enough for me as I like shooting birds and wildlife. How do you find the AF on the G3?

Just my opinion, It's a beautiful little thing a real gem.
When you swap it for a D7000 as I did it takes a bit of getting used too, miniture this and miniture that.
I don't think realise just how small it is, but OH what a lovely 100% EVF.
I can get the camera with 14-42 lens fitted + 45-200 zoom in a bag well under half the size of my Nikon kit.
With a crop factor of 2 that's quite a range.

I bought a G12 for a couple of days and sent it back, the exterior build quality was terrible.
It was something about that size I was after, the G3 fits the bill in spades...and such image quality.

The 'marina' is Burry Port, bit of a grand title for a harbour.

Camera happy D in W, for how long, who knows.
 
Do you know I was going to say Burry Port, my god that place has changed, been down that way loads of times fishing, Cefn Sidan etc, mind you was about 20 years ago lol
 
Great stuff.

I'm happy to see you singing the praises of the 14-42mm too.
