on to page 15 of the big thread [its a long read].

everyone says ebay for adapters but i cant find a SPECIFIC reccomendation for a good quality nikon ai/ais adapter.

any ideas and link to a good one?

An m43 forum recommended them, and I've recently bought an m43/OM adapter. No problems.

I can only strongly recommend that you trawl the listings for your specific item carefully. There are wildly varying prices for exactly the same item. I paid £24 for mine, but days later found him selling them for as low as £14 or so up to £48! And yes, they were all identical without a doubt.
 
thanks,i was wanting info on which ones worked as i realised i couldnt go by price some china made stuff is ok and some trash.
 
Most of the HK ones are the same version, just, as MisterE says, priced differently. I've got a couple of them in Canon FD and Nikon F-mount and they're okay, you get what you pay for though...
 
There's a seller on ebay called something like szkacha that I've used a few times with no problems for Canon FD/M42/Konica to M4/3 adapters.
