Title says it all really.

Go for the GF1 or wait for the GF2 thats out in a few days time? Doesnt seem a huge difference in spec but they've made the GF2 slightly smaller which is appealing.

Some people don't like the fact that the GF2 has lost its mode dial and is touch screen operated, but it is smaller as you say, and small always wins for me.
The GF1 won't disapear off the face of the Earth when the GF2 is released, maybe compare the two and see what you think.
 
Yep its the trade between size and lack of buttons. I really cant decide, but there are some cracking deals on the GF1 at the momment so its cost that might clinch it!
 
I'm sure it's still a good camera but I don't like the direction they have gone in with the GF2. Seems they were influences by the mega sales of the Nex in Japan.

I won't be upgrading certainly.

You can get a GF1 for miles cheaper than i paid, and I was still more than happy with my purchase.

I've decided on the GF1 and found it for £355 at Best Buy (20% Quidco) with 14-55 lens. Now to find the 20mm at an equally good price which could be tough as they seem to stick at a steady price!

The GF1 is replacing my Canon G11, although it's a great compact I've been disappointed with it's high iso performance. All the reviews say that the GF1 performs well and especially so when shooting RAW which is pretty much the only way I ever shoot these days.
 
Surely you'll be better off buying a GF1 + 20mm kit and then adding a 14-45mm later, the 20mm holds it's value well, the 14-45mm, not so much, I paid a measly £175 for mine.
