Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1.....quality issues.

I wouldn't worry about buying one, I'd guess most modern screens have this? Looks to be an anti-glare filter. My NEX had a very strong one (looks a LOT worse than those on the GX1s), you don't notice them when the screen is switched on and doesn't affect the quality of the displayed images.
 
My Ipad did that. I had a real fight with the apple store to replace it. At first they said there was nothing there, and when I finally got them too see it, they said it was normal.
They gave me a recon unit instead of a new replacement, but I couldnt have lived with a 2inch long mark like that on the screen. Once you see it, its hard to ignore.
