Ive really struggled to get anything useable when doing long exposures on my Pan LX100.
Ive been trialling a cheap screw on ND1000 filter and taking some shots at over 30 seconds at varying apertures and ISO200 which is the base level of the camera.
All i get is incredibly noisy photos and totally unusable.
I really want to take this camera away and have a specific shot at a coastal location where an LE shot is a must.

I would say anything over 3 seconds is unusable.
Can anyone advise if im doing something wrong or is it just the camera isnt up to it?

HTH:)

Original photo was taken at F16.
After some testing, ive found that F2.8-F4 and 20 seconds look good, but i'm not sure thats long enough, and the sky is getting blown out, even with a CPL and ND1000 fitted.

That flickr link could be useful thanks Box Brownie. Ive been using the T setting and the phone app to reduce any shake.

Looks like the in-built NR works well also, at F11 so getting better results already.
Thanks all.
