Panasonic MFT 35-100 - any owners want to tell me how good it is ?

I have fairly recently moved over to an Olympus OMD EM1 and have an Olympus 50-200 non SWD lens but find it can be slow to focus, tending to hunt more than I would like, especially compared to the Canon 70-200 f2.8 I used to own...!

So, can anyone here tell me what the Panasonic 35-100 is like compared to the Canon, fitted to an EM1 ?
I am more concerned with focus speed rather than sharpness, and any help much appreciated !
